This is our largest width stair tread. This hardwood is the ideal timber for staining and highlights its exceptional grain. This is the timber of choice in North America for furniture and fittings. The tread consists of a 2-4mm American Red Oak Overlay that can resanded up too 4-5 times. It is to be used for closed stringer design staircases where the pine core is visible.
